Dear Friends,
Happy Second Sunday in Lent!
We sure have a lot to take to the cross with all that has been going on with abortion laws and respect for life in our country!
I want you to know that women are receiving the blessing of compassion when they say yes to life!
This Sunday we are hearing the Gospel of Saint Luke’s account of the Transfiguration!
When can reflect on the incredible light that Peter, James and John were privileged to see in our Lord! They were able to see a visible change…
“While He was praying His face changed in appearance and His clothing became dazzling white.”
Wow! That reminds me of the change that takes place with the women who are seeking an abortion because they have no choice!
They bear the physical effects of someone who is on their way to choosing death.
They look pale, scared, and filled with anxiety. Their body language is closed.
After receiving compassion, from someone who will suffer with them - listen to them and not judge them...real compassion... they open up.
I saw a girl named Jennifer come to the center recently who was seriously considering abortion.
She chose life for her baby and is now receiving real help to transform her life and be ready for delivery.
I could not believe I was looking at the same woman!
She was smiling, she was joyful and she had a light that I didn’t see before when she wanted to have an abortion.
I truly believe that prayer is the answer.
When God’s compassion fills a woman through your prayer and the counselors at our centers miracles happen!
Real transformation and the blessing of God brings light to a woman physically, emotionally and spiritually.
Women have said that as soon as they chose life and not abortion that they feel lighter - they feel “some kind of light”. A woman named Marsha described it perfectly!
Please pray that all women would come to know that…
The baby is a blessing to the woman and the world!
May God bless you as you grow closer to knowing the compassion Jesus had for each one of us as He journeyed to Calvary.
In Christ,
Marie Joseph
